Car YouTuber can’t cope with his fans calling his girlfriend a golddigger

Popular automotive YouTuber WhistlinDiesel has found himself in hot water after his audience erupted over his new relationship, with many fans questioning his Russian girlfriend’s motives. The controversy has escalated to the point where the content creator uploaded a defensive 24-minute video titled “Sad People Don’t Like Seeing Happy People,” effectively calling his entire fanbase “mentally weak, poor, and stupid.”

The drama began when WhistlinDiesel introduced his Russian girlfriend in a recent video, revealing details that raised eyebrows among his millions of subscribers. The couple met over Instagram, with their first face-to-face meeting occurring during a Valentine’s Day trip to the Maldives. For months, they couldn’t communicate in each other’s languages, relying on Google Translate. Perhaps most tellingly, the girlfriend asks for a Mercedes so frequently that the video editor added a “Mercedes mention counter.”

Rather than ignoring the criticism or addressing it maturely, WhistlinDiesel appeared unable to handle his audience’s skepticism. In his defensive response video, he compared critics to “monkeys in a cage who drag each other down” and claimed people hate successful individuals. The YouTuber insisted he’s “a pretty good judge of character” and defended his girlfriend by noting she “wrote a book on emotional intelligence.”

Most concerning was his attempt to justify the situation with a bizarre hypothetical scenario comparing a homeless man to a billionaire, asking which one a woman would choose. He concluded by stating, “I actually do not give a crap. I don’t care a single bit if she loves my money. Because what girl wouldn’t? Of course, she wants a better life. You think she’s going to want to be with a broke guy?”

WhistlinDiesel appears convinced that wealth is the primary factor in romantic relationships. His defensive reaction suggests he may harbor his own doubts about his girlfriend’s motivations, despite his public declarations of confidence.

Content creator AugustTheDuck, who had previously warned about WhistlinDiesel’s changing behavior, noted the irony of someone claiming emotional intelligence while maintaining “an album in his phone dedicated to screenshots of hate comments.”
