Cryptocurrency investigator ZachXBT has called out YouTuber turned professional wrestler Logan Paul for what appears to be undisclosed advertising for prediction market platform Polymarket.
The incident began when Polymarket’s official account posted what seemed to be a candid video showing Paul and his wife Nina Agdal discussing a wager on their platform. In the video, Paul can be seen entering numerous zeros into the betting interface, with enhanced views of the screen revealing he was placing a million-dollar prediction.

However, the renowned blockchain investigator spotted a significant problem with the supposedly candid content. Upon closer examination of Paul’s account details visible in the video, ZachXBT discovered that the balance showed zero.
“Yet another Logan Paul scam,” ZachXBT wrote on social media. “Why do all of the prediction market teams have to run deceptive marketing?”
The investigator, known for his work tracking blockchain transactions and exposing fraudulent schemes in the cryptocurrency world, questioned the authenticity of the entire scenario.
When another user suggested the interaction was genuinely captured, ZachXBT responded sarcastically: “And the entire interaction was organically caught on video. Got it.”
Some observers attempted to defend the video, with one user suggesting Paul might have been demonstrating the return on investment for a million-dollar wager rather than actually placing one.

Another claimed Paul was using a separate U.S. version of Polymarket with different order books not visible on the international platform.
ZachXBT countered that the account still displayed zero balance regardless of the explanation.
The timing raised additional red flags. ZachXBT noted that the Polymarket post arrived just days after Paul featured the platform in a YouTube video without proper disclosure. “Coincidentally it comes only a few days after Logan Paul promoted Polymarket inorganically in a YT video,” he wrote.
When asked directly whether the situation involved undisclosed marketing arrangements, ZachXBT confirmed his suspicions: “there’s at least some sort of relationship not being disclosed.”

When one user pointed out that Paul’s YouTube content was clearly an advertisement, ZachXBT emphasized the core issue: “Well there’s zero disclosure in either video.”
Modern video technology played a crucial role in exposing the questionable promotion. The ability to zoom in and enhance footage allowed viewers to catch details that might have otherwise gone unnoticed, revealing the discrepancy between Paul’s apparent wager and his actual account balance.

Logan Paul previously faced scrutiny for projects and promotions.
Polymarket has not publicly addressed the concerns raised about the video’s authenticity or whether the company maintains an undisclosed partnership with Paul.
