Online investigators have compiled compelling evidence suggesting popular political streamer Hasan Piker used a electronic collar on his dog Kaya during live broadcasts, sparking widespread controversy across social media platforms.
The allegations first emerged when viewers noticed Piker’s dog suddenly yelping during a stream. Initially dismissing concerns, Piker later claimed he was using a “vibration collar,” but internet sleuths weren’t convinced. Their investigation revealed inconsistencies in his explanation that have since gone viral.
Amateur detectives analyzed footage frame-by-frame, focusing on audio waveforms that captured the exact moment of the dog’s distressed yelp. “His dog already yelps, which means the shock has already happened,” noted one user examining the timing of events. The analysis showed Piker reaching for something off-screen moments before his dog cried out in apparent pain.
Most concerning was the identification of the specific collar model. Investigators believe they’ve “narrowed it down to a model called the Educator ET 400 which seems to match it visually one to one in all aspects.”
The key evidence lies in modifications to the device – while the ET 400 typically features two prongs on the bottom, these can be removed. In Piker’s footage, investigators spotted “a bunch of tape there which potentially would be there to cover up the holes.”
The motive appears linked to Piker’s streaming setup. “Hassan wants his dog to stay in the background for like 10 hours while he streams,” according to the analysis. Video evidence shows Piker expressing clear frustration with his dog’s movement, saying “Kaya, please just f**king go back. Just stop” before the incident occurred.
He then goes on to say: “Jesus Christ, what are you doing? You’re being such a baby.”
When viewers called him out saying, “You’re making her stressed,” Hasan said: “She is literally is so incredibly spoilt from my mom.”
Perhaps most telling is the dog’s behavior in subsequent footage. Investigators found clips showing the animal displaying fear responses to mere looks from Piker. “His dog is already scared and walking back. What did you f**king do to your dog? Not even saying something like, ‘No, go back.’ Just a look. And his dog is afraid,” the analysis revealed.
Content creator Charlie (MoistCr1TiKaL) and others weighed in on the controversy, lending credibility to the investigators’ findings.
Despite defenders claiming the dog might have caught its paw on furniture, frame-by-frame analysis debunked this theory, showing “it’s not even touching the bed frame.”
