Joe Rogan Argues Trump Launched Iran Offensive To Distract From Epstein Files

During Joe Rogan‘s conversation with Arsenio Hall on episode 2480 of The Joe Rogan Experience, the two touched briefly on the Epstein files and the Iran situation, with Rogan suggesting a deliberate connection between the two.

The exchange began when Hall made an observation about misdirection, drawing on his background as a childhood magician. “As a kid, I did magic,” Hall said, “and there’s a thing in magic, I take a coin and put in this hand, there’s a thing called misdirection. That’s what I just did to you. You looked at that and I’m doing some s**t right here. That’s the story of American politics.”

Rogan picked up on the thread immediately, connecting it to historical political behavior. He said, “Oh yeah. Whenever something weird’s going on, look, when Monica Lewinsky,  when Bill Clinton got caught with Monica Lewinsky, they may start b**bing some other countries. Like, we got to distract these people. This is just too complicated.”

He then made his most direct statement on the subject, drawing a connection between the release of the Epstein files and military action against Iran. “Yeah, look, the Epstein files comes out. We go to war with Iran,” he noted. “It’s a good way to get people to stop talking about certain things. You give them a new problem to think about.”

During the episode, the two also discussed accountability in politics. Hall had said, “Somebody should be in trouble for the Epstein files. Somebody.”

Rogan agreed, responding, “At least one person, please.”

Hall followed up, “It’s crazy and we know it and we say it, but ain’t a thing we can do about it, right?”

Rogan then noted what he saw as a troubling double standard. He stated, “Right now there’s some talk about journalists getting in trouble for leaking information about the downed pilot and that they want to prosecute these journalists. At the same time, no one’s being prosecuted for the Epstein files. That’s nuts. That’s a sick society.”
