TikToker Just Got Arrested Again While She’s Still Facing Felony Fraud Charges From An Earlier Arrest

TikTok influencer Ashley Trevino was taken back into custody on March 4th, booked into Ellis County Jail just months after her initial arrest on two felony fraud warrants.

The latest arrest came after prosecutors asked the judge to reconsider her bond, arguing she had violated the conditions of her release while awaiting trial. How authorities found out is where things get particularly hard to believe: she posted it on social media.

According to court filings, the issue centered on alco**l. Prosecutors alleged that Trevino violated her bond by drinking on one occasion and purchasing alc**ol on another. The alleged violations surfaced after she posted photos on social media showing herself at a birthday party with alco**l present. In a separate post, she reportedly shared a picture of a receipt showing an alc**ol purchase.

Trevino is a social media creator with more than half a million followers across Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Her content largely revolves around her personal life and relationships, including her well-documented preference for dating incarcerated men. She has stated openly in videos that she has been dating inmates since 2019 and married two of them.

Her legal troubles began on December 17th, when a Venus, Texas police officer recognized her while responding to an unrelated call in her neighborhood. The officer called her out by name and asked her to step out of the car. She complied and was taken into custody, booked on two felony warrants tied to financial offenses dating back years.

The charges include healthcare fraud and a charge tied to securing a document by deception. The amount connected to the case falls somewhere between $2,500 and $30,000. Under Texas law, these are considered state jail felonies, carrying potential sentences of 6 months to 2 years along with possible fines.

Trevino posted a $15,000 bond and was released the following day, returning to social media almost immediately. In a video filmed as she was walking out of jail, she told viewers she had already hired a lawyer and planned to contend the charges.

Her attorneys are currently disputing the bond violation, arguing that the accusations from prosecutors do not actually prove she broke any court-ordered restrictions. The judge, however, saw things differently.

Following the March 4th arrest, her original bond was revoked and a new one was set at $25,000. The updated conditions are considerably stricter. She is now required to wear an ankle monitor, follow a curfew between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., avoid locations that primarily serve al**hol, attend a pre-trial supervision program, submit to random d**g and a**ohol testing, and refrain from possessing, purchasing, or using alcohol while the case is ongoing. She has also been ordered not to discuss the case on social media while legal proceedings continue.

Trevino still faces up to 2 years in state jail on two separate felony charges.
