UFC’s Bryce Mitchell Claims That Earth’s Real Population Is Approximately 500 Million, Not 8 Billion As Officially Stated

Controversial UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell used a recent episode of his podcast “ArkanSanity” to share a claim about the world’s true population, suggesting the widely accepted figure of 8 billion people is far from accurate.

During the podcast, Mitchell stated plainly: “They tell us there’s 8 billion people on the planet. I’ve recently discovered there are not 8 billion people on the planet.”

He went on to put forward what he believes to be the real number, saying, “There’s not 8 billion people on the planet. They’ve got us around 500 million people left.”

Mitchell, who runs a working farm in Arkansas between his MMA commitments, delivered the claim as part of a discussion about global conflict, government transparency, and what he described as ongoing efforts by powerful forces to reduce the world’s population. He tied the population assertion directly to his views on current geopolitical tensions, suggesting that an impending large-scale war would result in significant further loss of life.

The MMA star acknowledged that his views regularly attract skepticism. “I know everybody says, ‘Oh, Bryce, you’re a conspiracy theorist.’ Blah, blah, blah. But in a year, everybody always figures out I was right,” he told his listeners.

Mitchell, who competes in the UFC’s featherweight division, has built a following that extends well beyond mixed martial arts circles. The population claim came amid a lengthy segment in which Mitchell outlined what he believes is a coordinated global effort to reduce human numbers through war, and he urged his audience to prepare accordingly.

He pointed to his own farm as part of that preparation, framing it as a future refuge where he intends to provide food and support for those who may need it.

“Be ready,” he warned listeners. “The power goes out, who cares? You’re still alive. You still find your food, grow your food, all of that stuff.”
