Dillon Danis Promotes Another Suspicious Crypto Token

Dillon Danis, the controversial MMA star turned social media personality, has once again found himself entangled in the murky world of cryptocurrency promotions. Despite being previously exposed by YouTuber Coffeezilla for his lack of due diligence in promoting dubious crypto projects, Danis has resurfaced as an endorser of yet another questionable token.

Coffeezilla’s Past Exposé on Dillon Danis

In a widely publicized investigation, YouTuber Coffeezilla exposed Danis’ willingness to promote crypto projects without vetting them. The sting operation, which involved fellow content creator Oompaville, revealed that Danis was charging $5,000 for a 24-hour promotional post and failed to scrutinize projects before endorsing them. The investigation even included a fake NFT project called “sour.gg,” where the project description covertly spelled out “COFFEEZILLA” using the first letters of each word.

Danis not only failed to notice the glaring red flags in the project but also agreed to promote it before even asking what it was. The incident highlighted a broader issue of influencers profiting from crypto promotions without any regard for their followers’ financial well-being.

Danis Promotes $ALPHA Token

Despite his previous embarrassment, Danis appears undeterred. On February 6th, he posted a tweet stating:

“I choose to be an $ALPHA @alphaofsol”

The tweet included a link to the decentralized exchange Dexscreener, leading to a now-defunct listing. Notably, within an hour, the link had already been rendered unusable, raising immediate red flags about the token’s legitimacy.

The project’s X (formerly Twitter) account, @alphaofsol, later responded to concerns, stating:

“We understand your concerns. But you need to understand that everything is down. 80-90% from ATH. We are not leaving.”

However, at the time of writing, the token’s performance paints a grim picture:

  • Rank: #1192
  • Market Cap: 7K
  • Price: $0.007951
  • 7-Day Decline: -90.35%

That tiny green peak on the 6th appers to coincide with timing of Danis’ promotion.

Another Crypto Mishap for Danis?

While the nature of Danis’ involvement with $ALPHA remains uncertain, the situation follows a familiar pattern. Given his history of endorsing projects that later turned out to be rug pulls, it raises legitimate concerns about whether he once again participated in a pump-and-dump scheme or simply accepted payment without conducting proper due diligence.

Danis’ ongoing engagement with crypto promotions—despite previous public humiliation—suggests that either he has not learned from past mistakes or remains indifferent to the risks posed to his followers. Whether intentional or out of ignorance, his role in yet another collapsing token further cements his reputation as an unreliable crypto promoter.
