John McAfee turned into John Wick after Belize govt shot his dog, wife claims

The controversial tech mogul John McAfee‘s time in Belize took a dark turn when government officials allegedly killed his beloved deaf dog during a property raid, according to revelations from his wife. What began as a brazen attempt at extortion spiraled into what she describes as an all-out war between McAfee and the Central American nation’s authorities.

The confrontation started when two government representatives arrived at McAfee’s Belizean property with an audacious proposal. They offered him land, tax breaks, and other incentives in exchange for a $2 million donation to what was believed to be the ruling political party. McAfee firmly declined the offer.

Approximately one week after his refusal, the Gang Suppression Unit descended on his property in a heavy-handed raid. Officers handcuffed McAfee and held him for what his wife estimates was between 12 to 14 hours. During the raid, authorities destroyed his laboratory and, in a moment that would prove pivotal, shot and killed his deaf dog directly in front of him.

“So naturally this enraged him,” his wife explained during an interview. McAfee was arrested on charges of possessing an illegal firearm, but he was able to produce the proper license for the weapon, forcing authorities to release him and drop the charges.

The audacity of what happened next is almost difficult to believe. Within a week of the traumatic raid, the same officials returned to McAfee’s property asking if he had reconsidered their original offer. His response was unequivocal: “Get the F off my property.”

“This for him began war. Now, now it’s war,” his wife recalled.

His wife drew a direct parallel to the action film character known for seeking revenge after his dog was killed. “John McAfee turned into John Wick. Yeah. Yes, very quickly. It didn’t take, didn’t take much,” she said.

McAfee’s retaliation was calculated and sophisticated. He began distributing laptop computers as gifts to secretaries, girlfriends, and boyfriends of high-ranking government officials. These weren’t ordinary computers, each one was equipped with keylogging software and spyware designed to capture every keystroke and activity.

“Naturally they took the laptops. Not questioning, you know, them or anything,” his wife noted. The unsuspecting recipients had no idea they were providing McAfee with a direct window into governmental operations.

His initial objective was straightforward: gather evidence that he had been deliberately set up during the property raid. McAfee was demanding an apology from the prime minister and wanted proof of the government’s vendetta against him.

What he uncovered went far beyond personal grievances. The intelligence gathered from the compromised laptops allegedly revealed a web of serious criminal activity at the highest levels of Belizean government, including d**g trafficking, human trafficking, murder-for-hire schemes, and extensive money laundering operations.

His wife declined to specify exactly how many laptops were distributed or identify the specific recipients, suggesting McAfee kept those operational details closely guarded. The scope of his surveillance operation and the extent of the evidence he collected remains unclear.
