Shawn Ryan Is Calling Out MAGA Movement

In a recent interview with Megyn Kelly, former Special Operations veteran and podcast host Shawn Ryan made his position on the MAGA movement unmistakably clear, delivering what many are calling one of the most direct takedowns of Trump-era politics from within conservative media circles.

The conversation saw Ryan and Kelly working through a long list of grievances against the current administration, ranging from financial corruption allegations to foreign policy decisions that neither host defended in the discussion.

When the topic turned to what MAGA actually represents at its core, Ryan was blunt. Pressed by Kelly on the identity of the movement, he pointed to what he described as the influence of pro-Israel lobbying as a defining feature.

Ryan stated, “I have no idea. P*dophiles supporting Israeli lobby?”

Ryan also took aim at a series of reported controversies involving the administration. He referenced allegations that Trump used the Department of Justice to shield himself and his family from IRS scrutiny, as well as claims involving Trump-connected figures in a drone company that secured a $1.1 billion Pentagon contract, along with financial dealings tied to foreign governments, including a reported $400 million jet from Qatar.

Reflecting on the political landscape, he stated, “I don’t even know what the Republican Party is anymore,” he said. “Nobody stands up for anything. It’s unclear. Not inside. All these people I thought were Republicans on the outside are standing up against it, but nobody on the inside is except the people that are resigning.”

Kelly, meanwhile, highlighted what she described as worsening economic pressure on ordinary Americans. “They can’t afford groceries. They can’t afford gas prices. They can’t afford homes. They can’t afford healthcare,” she said. “And we’re giving 16.2 billion to Israel for just one of those line items.”

The discussion also turned to the MAHA movement and what they characterized as its weakening under the Trump administration, particularly around the issue of glyphosate. According to the conversation, instead of restricting the herbicide as previously promised, the administration moved to grant legal protections to companies that use it, contradicting earlier pledges associated with both Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
