Brad Pitt’s son celebrates 17th birthday at Muay Thai competition

Brad Pitt‘s 17-year-old son Knox marked his birthday in fashion this weekend, claiming victory at an IKF Point Muay Thai Technical competition. His mother, Angelina Jolie, was cheering him on from the sidelines.

The teenager, who shares his birthday with twin sister Vivienne, demonstrated his martial arts skills at the weekend event, emerging victorious in his match. Photos shared on social media show Knox beaming with pride alongside his coaches, sporting a red medal around his neck and flashing his white mouth guard in celebration.

Angelina, 50, looked effortlessly elegant in an all-black ensemble as she supported her son at the competition. The Academy Award-winning actress was later photographed with one of Knox’s coaches, clearly proud of her son’s achievement in the ring.

The birthday celebration comes amid reports that Brad Pitt was “desperate” to reconnect with the twins before their 17th birthday milestone. However, the 61-year-old actor was notably absent from the martial arts event, highlighting the ongoing estrangement between the Hollywood star and his children.

Knox’s victory in the Muay Thai competition showcased the athletic talents he’s been developing. His dedication to the martial art appears to have paid off handsomely with his weekend triumph.

The mother-son duo was also spotted around their Los Feliz neighborhood, where both Angelina and Brad maintain separate residences. Knox took the wheel of a compact SUV while his mother rode as passenger, her blonde hair styled straight and complemented by glossy black sunglasses.

The birthday celebration shows the complex family dynamics that have emerged since Angelina filed for divorce from Brad in 2019 after five years of marriage. The former couple shares six children together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

Brad’s relationship with his children has become increasingly strained over the years, with several of them choosing to drop his surname. Zahara was the first to make this decision, followed by Vivienne and Shiloh. The actor now reportedly has “virtually no contact” with his adult children.

Their son, Pax, notably called Pitt a “world-class a**hole” on Father’s Day in 2020. However, sources suggest Brad maintains hope for reconciliation, particularly with the twins, as Knox has reportedly retained “Jolie-Pitt as his surname.”

The actor has allegedly reached out to Knox and Vivienne, with reports indicating he’s “praying” they’ll “give him another chance” as he hopes to “make amends” with his youngest children.

While Knox celebrated his martial arts victory and birthday milestone, his five siblings were notably absent from the festivities, with the teenager spending quality time exclusively with his mother. Knox appeared relaxed and casual during their neighborhood outing, dressed in a green T-shirt and gray sweatpants.

Meanwhile, the former couple continues to battle over their French winery Château Miraval, with Brad’s latest legal filing requesting access to Angelina’s private messages. The dispute centers on Angelina’s 2021 sale of her $64 million stake to Yuri Shefler, owner of SPI Group, which Brad argues violated their prior agreement.
