Joe Rogan Claims He Helped Bill Burr Recover From Persistent Flu After ‘Dr Rogan’ Jibe

During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with guest Bert Kreischer, host Joe Rogan shared a detailed story about helping comedian Bill Burr recover from a persistent respiratory issue.

According to Rogan’s account on the podcast, the interaction with Burr occurred in 2024, well after the pandemic had subsided. Rogan explained the circumstances.

He said, “I did it for Bill Burr. Bill Burr was here and he was sick. He was coughing. And this is like long after the pandemic. It’s like 2024. And he was doing a show and I came to visit him. He’s like, ‘I can’t get over this cold.'”

Rogan described providing specific medical advice to his fellow comedian: “I go, ‘Listen to me.’ I go, ‘I’m gonna give you this number. I’m gonna give you these people. You’re going to get a hold of them and schedule an IV mega dose vitamin drip. You want high doses of vitamin B. You want high doses of D. You want high doses of C and zinc. You want all those things together and I guarantee you you’re going to be fine.'”

The treatment apparently produced rapid results. Rogan recounted Burr’s reaction: “He was sick for weeks. He couldn’t get over this f**king cough. He calls me like a day later. He goes, ‘Dude, I can’t believe how good I feel.’ He goes, ‘Dr. Joe Rogan, I’m calling you every time I have a problem with this again.'”

Rogan went on to describe similar interventions he’s made for other high-profile figures, including UFC CEO Dana White. He said, “I did the same thing for Dana White. When Dana White had C***d, he threw some eucalyptus on the rocks in his sauna and he couldn’t smell it. And he goes, ‘Oh my god, I got C**id.’ He goes, ‘The first thing I did is called Joe Rogan.’ He called me up.”

According to Rogan, he immediately stepped in to help coordinate White’s treatment. “I said, ‘I’ll set you up. We’re going to get you monoclonal antibodies. We’re going to get you this, we’re going to get you that,’” Rogan explained. The results, he claimed, were rapid. “Boom. One day later, he’s better.”

It seems like Burr’s tongue-in-cheek “Dr. Joe Rogan” label is true, Rogan has become an informal health concierge among his circle.
