Joe Rogan Says He’s ‘Spooked’ By Trump Turning 80

During JRE episode #2466 with guests Francis Foster and Konstantin Kisin, a conversation about Nicolas Maduro’s decision to openly antagonize the United States pivoted into a candid discussion about President Donald Trump‘s age.

After noting that Maduro had essentially invited consequences by provoking the Trump administration, Rogan raised the question of Trump’s mindset at this stage of his life.

“He’s 80,” Rogan observed. “He doesn’t have much to lose, right?”

Kisin agreed, saying that it’s Trump’s “last term.”

Rogan called the situation unsettling. He said: “That’s the scary thing about old leaders. It’s like d**th is imminent.”

Rogan stated that the thought genuinely rattled him. “That’s spooky,” he said. “You’re making decisions for babies and children and the future of the world and you’ve only got 10, maybe 10 years left on Earth if everything goes great.”

Foster added, “You start to degrade. Your cognitive functions. I’m not saying that he’s got dementia or anything like that, but you’re just not as sharp when you’re that age as you are when you’re younger.”

Despite those concerns, Rogan found himself puzzled by how little Trump appears to have changed physically compared to other recent leaders. “He is, I mean, he’s kind of weird,” Rogan said. “When I think about how much Barack Obama aged, how much Tony Blair aged. Trump has not aged like that.”

Rogan pointed out what makes that particularly strange: “And he has a terrible diet… Which is even crazier because you consider he doesn’t exercise.”

Rogan then relayed something RFK Jr. had told him about Trump’s road diet. “He eats junk food because he knows that when he eats fast food it’s not going to be poison,” Rogan said. “He knows he can eat it and not worry about getting food poisoning. It’s filled with preservatives. You’re not going to get food poisoning from a Big Mac. When was the last time you heard about anybody getting food poisoning from a Big Mac? Never happens because nothing can grow on those things. Decades. They don’t rot. There’s so much preservatives in the bread.”

Kisin then talked about what really impressed him about Trump’s physical and mental durability given everything he has been through. “Trump hasn’t aged like much younger men,” he said, describing it as remarkable. “He’s been under colossal pressure.”

Rogan agreed, saying: “Assassination attempts, almost going to jail, 34 felonies sort of trumped up against him. And it’s very funny. He’s always joking around about that stuff. He’s very lighthearted about it all.”
