Terrence Howard has built a career on playing complicated men, but nothing he has done on screen is quite as bewildering as what he is now doing online. The actor, best known for his role as Lucious Lyon on ‘Empire’, has spent the better part of a decade championing an alternative theory of mathematics and physics that mainstream science has roundly rejected. Now he is charging people for the privilege of learning it.
Howard recently launched a subscription platform where fans and followers can pay to access what he calls a new understanding of geometry, physics, and chemistry. The tiers range from a Discovery Pass at $4.99 per month all the way up to a $99.99 per month “Architect” level that promises direct access to Howard himself, fast-tracked industry connections, and an open door policy at his Los Angeles residence. For those who want to go deeper, a 30-minute Zoom call with Howard runs $4,999.99, while a five-minute phone call will set you back $963.

At the heart of the platform is Howard’s long-held claim that 1 times 1 equals 2, a position that has made him a recurring punchline in mathematics circles and a folk hero among a surprisingly devoted online following. His Instagram account recently crossed 40,000 subscribers, and Howard marked the milestone with a rallying post that framed the whole enterprise as a movement.
“For generations we’ve been taught to see the universe through a particular lens,” he wrote, asking followers whether a new understanding of geometry could change everything about how humanity sees nature, consciousness, energy, and creation.
Howard has patented what he calls a new geometry, and he describes the decision to patent it in careful terms. “My intent has always been to share this freely with the world,” he said in a recent video, explaining that the patent was obtained “just to make sure that no one would mislead it or misuse it.” He added that outside forces have done “everything they can to obfuscate” his work over the past decade.
For $9 each, visitors to his platform can purchase digital white papers with titles like “The Necessity of a Finite Universe,” “Super Grand Unified Field Theory,” and “The Tetryen Seel.” A standalone digital product called “One Times One Equals Two” is also listed at $9.
The platform also features a full documentary titled “A New Understanding of the Universe” and a nine-track album called “Elephants With Guitars,” both available to subscribers.
Howard has framed his goal as one of liberation. He says the world is on the verge of something significant, and that the patterns behind nature and creation have been hiding in plain sight.
