A popular content creator known as Lacy (real name Nick Fosco) is facing serious backlash after footage from a recent live broadcast showed him berating an elderly staff member at a golf course in Los Angeles, then mocking the man’s age once outside.
Lacy and his friends arrived late to their scheduled tee time at Westchester Golf Course and almost immediately ran into trouble with staff over their intention to film on the property. Employees in the pro shop informed the group that filming required a formal agreement and an additional fee, something Lacy appeared unwilling to accept.
Adding to the tension, Lacy’s group reportedly did not know what last name their tee time was booked under, meaning they were unable to identify themselves when called over the loudspeaker. The staff member behind the counter claims he announced their name roughly 15 to 20 times before the group came inside. Lacy disputed this and accused the employee of being rude, escalating the confrontation into a prolonged argument before storming out of the pro shop and abandoning his tee time entirely.
What followed outside is what drew the most attention online. After a friend suggested showing some understanding toward the staff member by saying, “We don’t know what that guy’s going on in his life,” Lacy fired back with a response that left many viewers disgusted.
“He’s 80 years old, wrinkly as h*ll. He’s going to d*e in 3 years. I don’t give a f**k what he’s got going on in his life. He’s going to be a fossil by the time I’m 30,” Lacy said on camera.
The backlash extended beyond the video itself. Viewers from Lacy’s own live audience flooded the golf course’s Google page with negative reviews during the broadcast, illustrating why many businesses in LA are reluctant to allow content creators to film on their premises.
