Joe Rogan Shames Progressives Who Support Islamic Radicalists

During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, host Joe Rogan and British MP Rupert Lowe took direct aim at progressives in the West who openly support Islamic radicalism while simultaneously championing causes that Islamic law explicitly forbids.

The conversation turned pointed when Rogan brought up Dearborn, Michigan, noting that the city’s far-left political class had enthusiastically embraced its growing Islamic population under the banner of inclusion, only to watch that same community move to ban the Pride flag once it gained political footing.

“All the progressives, it’s very liberal place. They’re like, ‘Welcome, welcome. Everyone’s welcome for all cultures.’ And as soon as they got into power, they banned the Pride flag. That was the first thing they did,” Rogan said.

Lowe added that the leader of Britain’s Green Party is a gay Jewish man, noting that he would face serious consequences “if these guys get anywhere near power, but that doesn’t seem to put the progressives off.”

Rogan then pressed into the contradiction at the heart of progressive support for radical Islamic communities.

He said, “Islamic society is completely patriarchal. The women are absolutely second-class citizens. They have completely different laws for how the women can dress. What happens to the woman if someone commits adultery, they could be… stoned to death.”

He paused, then asked plainly: “It’s like, hey guys, how are you progressive when you’re supporting this?”

His answer was equally blunt.

“It’s because the concept of not being racist, not being called racist, the fear of that is so strong,” he noted. “They’re willing to adopt all sorts of things that are the complete antithesis of everything they believe in.”

Lowe brought up honor k*llings and the way family members, including brothers, will end the lives of female relatives to preserve family reputation. Both men agreed that progressive silence on these cultural practices exposes a deep ideological inconsistency.

Lowe pointed specifically to the Me Too movement, saying it “always fascinates me that they never seem to say anything about these what I call clanish tribal cultures who have a completely different view of women.”

Rogan wrapped the exchange with a direct assessment of progressive psychology.

“It’s also the mental gymnastics that you have to have to accept that as a part of Britain and because you’re progressive is really crazy. It just shows how these ideologies, these cult-like ideologies, can completely defy logic, completely defy common sense. You have a set of rules that you’re supposed to adhere to. If you deviate from those rules, you’re a racist. You don’t want to be a racist, right? Then everyone’s welcome.”
